HYBRID CUT

Hybrid Cut that combines negative and roll finger styles for a unique feel and look. The center two fingers use the negative cut for a cozy fit, while the outer fingers use the roll cut to provide extra latex contact with the ball. This design enhances grip and ball control, especially in the center of the glove. You can see a perfect example of our Hybrid Cut in our model.

ROLL FINGER

Roll finger goalkeeper gloves are very popular and widely used today. They are called “roll finger” because the latex extends from the palm around the backhand without gussets. This design provides excellent latex contact with the ball but isn’t as snug as negative cut gloves or hybrids with negative cuts. While they offer a comfortable feel, some might find them slightly bulkier compared to negative cut gloves. Our glove model features a squared roll finger cut

SURROUND HYBRID

The term “hybrid” essentially means a mix and doesn’t refer to a specific cut. For example, our gloves feature a hybrid cut by combining a pre-curved flat palm with negative stitching, offering a more snug and natural feel than a traditional flat palm. Alternatively, our gloves blend flat and seamless roll fingers to provide a unique, paw-like fit.

ROLL NEGATIVE CUT

The ‘Negative Roll’ cut is a hybrid style that combines negative and roll finger designs for enhanced comfort, fit, and feel. The fingers are rolled like any roll finger glove, while the palm is stitched similarly to a negative glove. This blend offers a snug fit typical of negative gloves, with the added benefit of increased latex contact with the ball due to the rolled fingers. If you prefer a looser fit, you might consider choosing one size up with this cut. A great example is our glove, which features this neg-roll hybrid.

NEGATIVE CUT

Negative cut goalkeeper gloves (and hybrids using this style) have become increasingly popular in recent years, especially across Europe. They are similar to flat cut gloves in that they use a single piece of latex attached to the backhand with gussets, but the key difference is that the stitching/gussets are on the inside of the glove. This design provides a tighter, more snug fit and better ball control that feels closer to your hand. However, gloves with this cut may wear out slightly faster than roll finger gloves. FLAT CUT

The Flat Palm cut is a classic and still popular style today, one of the first to emerge as the goalkeeper glove market began to develop. In a flat palm cut, the sewn gussets are positioned on the outside, unlike the internal gussets used in negative cuts, which results in a looser feel. This cut features a single piece of latex attached to the back of the glove, with gussets between the fingers and palm.
